A brick wall is a wall made up of courses of bricks laid in mortar according to a bond, used for cladding and infilling.
In Revit, the one brick wall is drawn using a Basic Wall family which provides quantity, length, area and volume measurements to SkyBIM’s Product Editor.

Brick reinforcement to brick walls
Length = Revit Basic Wall Length * [(Wall Height {Manual} / Brick Thickness {Manual}) / Number of Brick Courses {Manual}]
Softboard joint between wall and surface bed not exceeding 300mm high
Length = Revit Basic Wall Length
Rake out softboard joint and seal with polysulphide joint sealer
Length = Revit Basic Wall Length
One coat plaster to one brick walls
Area = Revit Basic Wall Area * 2
Extra over for one coat skim coat plaster finish on brick walls

Two coats Acrylic PVA paint applied to plastered walls

V-joint in plaster

75 x 38mm SA pine wall plate

4mm Diameter roof tie, 2m girth bent double with one end fixed to timber / steel truss and other end built into brickwork
